VISION:
At SSPP we have the highest expectations and aspirations for our children when they leave us in year 6, and step out into their new adventures. We want our children to thrive on an intrapersonal, interpersonal, societal and global level.
It is our vision that they will be:
FAITHFUL: They will have Christ firmly at the centre of their lives. They will see the dignity in all life around them, show compassion and forgiveness to all. In the words of Pope Francis, leave SSPP having “developed a sense of truth, of what is good and beautiful.”
AMBITIOUS: We want all children to leave SSPP with a clear and rich sense of purpose and ambition. To be inspired by a wealth, breadth and depth of experiences to know that their voice matters.
EMPOWERED: Through our knowledge rich and humanity rich curriculum, children will know what to do, when they don’t know what to do. That their ambition is matched with their thirst for knowledge.
MISSION:
As a Catholic School, it is our “divine mission to help all to arrive at the fullness of Christian life”. Through our teaching and learning, we develop our pupils’ faith and spirituality, their understanding of their culture and the important part they play in society.
To achieve our ‘divine mission’ as a Catholic School, we must keep Christ at the centre, every single day, in all that we do
To grow in knowledge, love and walk in the footsteps of Jesus
VALUES
TRUST: We strive everyday to build trust with all stakeholders in school. Trust between children and their peers, adults and parents across all aspects of school life. We know that a thriving and successful school culture depends deeply on trust
LOVE: Through love, greatness and happiness can be achieved. We value and live by the words Jesus taught us “Love one another as I have loved you.”
COURAGE: We want to help nurture our children to be confident, resilient and courageous individuals, who are able to face and overcome challenges. We know through bravery and risk taking, our children will be equipped to take on the world!
