Peace, Reconciliation, Sharing...Linking Armistice Day with St Martin's Day

On 11th November, at 5:30pm, there will be the Travelling Light Lantern Peace Parade. The parade begins at Coronation Gardens at 5:30pm and travels along the South Parade towards the beach where there will be music and sharing around the fire. This is a special, local opportunity for families to participate in.

It is especially significant for our KS2 pupils and families, who have all had the pleasure of making their very own willow lantern, which they will be able to use during the parade if they attend.
